Laura Wright, PhD, is a Lecturer in Childhood Studies, University of Edinburgh. She also acts as a Director, Participatory Methodologies, International Institute for Child Rights and Development. Laura’s research and practice with children, youth, and adults has focused on participatory (play and arts based) methods, children’s meaningful participation, intergenerational partnerships, child protection, children’s rights, social justice, and psychosocial wellbeing in Canada, East and West Africa, the Middle East, South Eastern Europe, Asia, and the United Kingdom. She is an active member on several child-centred networks and boards internationally to support collaboration and positive transformation across sectors and disciplines.
