Mohammed Alruzzi is a Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh (part time). He also works as a Lecturer in Childhood Studies at the University of Bristol, the UK. He holds a PhD in Social Anthropology (University of Fribourg—Switzerland) and a Master’s degree in Childhood Studies (University of Edinburgh — the UK).

Alruzzi has worked as a researcher and consultant with many international non-governmental organizations and UN agencies, including Mercy Corps, Terre des Hommes, the Norwegian Refugee Council, World Vision and UNICEF, in the Palestinian territories, Lebanon and Switzerland. His research interests include child work, juvenile justice and education policy.
